Dividend policy and information
We aim to pay as high, secure and sustainable a dividend as is compatible with maintaining our investment flexibility. With effect from 1 May 2011, the Directors intend to pay dividends in July, October, January and April of each year. It is our intention that the dividend paid by the Company will continue to grow in real terms over the longer term relative to both the Retail Price Index and the Consumer Price Index and it is our policy never to cut the dividend rate, so shareholders know that each quarterly payment will at least equal the previous one.
